Welcome to Groove Music Industries. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and our software products, including the Arponaut plugin (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
Groove Music Industries (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a software development business based in Belgium, creating and selling digital audio plugins worldwide.
2. Eligibility
To create an account or purchase a license, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
4. Software Licensing
Arponaut is licensed, not sold.
The demo version is free and does not collect personal data.
The licensed version unlocks saving and other premium features via a purchased license key.
The plugin connects to our server to validate your license upon activation and each launch.
You may not share, resell, or redistribute license keys.
5. Purchases and Refunds
All purchases are processed securely through our Merchant of Record (MoR) (FastSpring).
The MoR is responsible for handling payments, taxes (including VAT), and refunds in accordance with their own terms and policies.
By purchasing, you agree to the MoR’s refund policy.
6. Updates
All future updates to Arponaut are free for licensed users.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and software developed by Groove Music Industries are our exclusive property.
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Arponaut in accordance with these Terms.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
Reverse-engineer or modify the plugin
Circumvent license validation or security mechanisms
Distribute, rent, or sell copies of the plugin or license keys
Use the Services for unlawful purposes
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the plugin will be error-free or compatible with all systems.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Groove Music Industries is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of our software or website.
11. Privacy
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy
which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Belgium.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will always be available on our website, with the date of the latest revision indicated above.
